The RMBC Minister of Music and Worship is a person who orchestrates dynamic worship services in a ministry relationship with the Senior Pastor and staff. He/She builds a growing team of volunteers and creates a strategy for long-term, sustainable ministry of music and arts across generational lines.
The Pastor of Music ministries should be a committed follower of Jesus Christ. He/she should intentionally seek continued growth in their spiritual development -- growing in faith and godliness. The preferred candidate would possess a Bachelors degree and have some Biblical and Theological Education.
Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church is committed to the MB Confession of faith so the candidate would have a working knowledge of MB Confession and History.

· Recruit, develop, and oversee leaders to facilitate the music programming of the church
· Ability to lead and manage ministry teams
Knowledge
· Music experience in a variety of genres
· Understands the role of the church in Christian development
· Values team dynamics and embraces his/her essential role
· Understands sound systems and their value in worship settings
